GUY WHO TEACHES KIDS TO STAY OFF DRUGS TELLS ME OFF (AGAIN)

This guy actually claims to have a good job and education and says that he has worked to teach kids to stay off drugs! Yet he continues to tell me the same ridiculous things, cuss at me and call me every name in the book, etc.

Ed Machacek: Here we go again you have never done anything a BILLION times, quit making crap up! So is someone who uses Cannabis as a preventative or for relief and they enjoy it they are immoral? You told me that POT should be illegal with stiff penalties because of people disagree with you... There  are Universities teaching students how to GROW POT, open a dispensary and make money in the NEW GOLD RUSH!...Quit saying we should not use recreational drugs to relax chill out or relax. Greater than 50% of AMERICA feels differently than you do. WAKE UP!!!!!!! You have no idea what you are complaining about. You have never seen Cannabis ever and you do not know anyone who uses it. asking you anything about Cannabis is like asking a CAVEMAN how he feels about driving a car. You should go back to the low carb diet channel.

Cindybin: Again, you JUST DON'T GET IT. All I am saying is that we shouldn't use mind-altering drugs recreationally. I am a convert to the Mormon church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and we are taught why it is immoral to use drugs to have "fun". That is not what TRUE fun is! And that is what makes it wrong. And you shouldn't even have to be Mormon or religious to know not to smoke pot recreationally or to use alcohol. My point is that a grown adult should be well past the age where they would want to use a mind-altering drug to get high, stoned, buzzed, relax, have "fun", enjoy life, celebrate, socialize, etc. People need to grow up and set an example! We are supposed to have fun and enjoy life through having hobbies and interests and using our own minds, not by ingesting a mind-altering drug like pot or alcohol into our system. Again, this is not what TRUE fun is.

And I have explained over and over that the only reason I say that pot should be illegal forever with very stiff penalties is because of how HORRIBLE the pot smokers are and people like you, cussing me out, threatening me with death and bodily harm, attacking my religion, my looks, my sex life, making fun of me for collecting dolls, accusing me of thinking that pot is dangerous and deadly and "ruins your life", etc. I keep explaining that I only say that pot should be illegal not because of marijuana itself, but because of the people who use and defend it! This has come AFTER I first started speaking up against pot. I never even used to care if pot was legal or not. That is not the issue! Again, all I'm saying is that we shouldn't use mind-altering drugs RECREATIONALLY, that this is good morals and just plain common sense. I only started saying that pot should be illegal forever AFTER all the abuse started by you guys. And as I have said a billion times, I'm not about making pot legal or illegal. THAT IS NOT MY POINT. The point is that we shouldn't use mind-altering drugs recreationally, LEGAL OR NOT. Even if pot were legal all over the place, it still doesn't make it right to use it to get high and stoned and have "fun". What parent would ever raise their kids to grow up and think it's okay to do THAT? Most parents try to raise their kids with morals and values to know this is wrong. And I know many of these same parents think nothing is wrong with using a mind-altering drug in the form of alcohol, but they are hypocrites. A casual booze drinker is no better than a casual pot smoker except they aren't breaking the law. And we will never get the pot smokers to understand why it's wrong and immature to use drugs, as long as people use alcohol.

Again, I am not about making pot "illegal forever." That is not my concern! I am just trying to help people realize that we shouldn't use mind-altering drugs recreationally, that they shouldn't even be THINKING about such things as pot or alcohol! I never do! I never even THOUGHT about pot before all this. I've never even SEEN marijuana. We shouldn't even be concerned with this! We should all have lives and be nice, moral and mature grown adults and not even THINK about such things as getting high on pot or buzzed on alcohol!

And just because lots of people DO think it's okay to get high on pot or buzzed on alcohol doesn't make it right and it doesn't mean YOU have to! Aren't you better than that? That is what I tell all the pot smokers and booze drinkers who admit to me they use these things. I try to help them to grow up and realize that there is a better way to live.

Do you realize how much harder it is for kids/teens to obtain legal substances vs illegal ones??? Things that are regulated like booze or smokes kids are unable to buy, because no store would sell that to an underage kid ..... But a pot dealer? Most won't have a problem selling weed to a 13 year old. But if it's legal, there will not "pot dealers" anymore, there will be dispensaries that do not sell weed to kids! It will also redirect funds away from criminals and to the government.

So unless you want kids smoking pot, you should support legalization of marijuana.

Dear Anonymous, You must be the 200th Internet person this week to tell me that it's easier for kids to obtain illegal substances. This makes me so mad! I have explained over and over that I sure never knew where to smoke pot when I was growing up. Nobody ever offered it to me or talked about it to me or anything! And I was a teen in the 70s! Same for my husband! Pot was ILLEGAL! And we sure don't know anybody NOW who smokes pot, approves of it or knows where to find it! It is still ILLEGAL! And it drives me nuts that you guys always tell me that "weed" should be regulated. Regulated for who? Adults?? Adults are the ones who should know better and not use drugs! And it drives men nuts that you guys always bring up about how if pot were legal it would redirect funds to the government. Oh brother. The object is to keep people OFF drugs, not to sell pot legal so that the government can make money off it! How sad would it be if the government made money off of POT SMOKERS?? And what message is this sending to our kids? That when you grow up, it's perfectly okay and legal to light up a joint, smoke it and get high? No, the object is to help kids understand why we shouldn't use drugs at all. Heck, I never even THOUGHT about using drugs when I was growing up! And again, nobody ever offered me pot or talked about it to me or anything! And yes, even if it were legal I would suspect there would still be pot dealers trying to sell to kids, because if they see adults using pot, then of course they're going to want to use it as well, to be bad and cool. And if it were LEGAL, then the pot dealers would have even an EASIER time finding marijuana to sell! They could just go right into a pot store and buy it! And again, what grown adult would smoke POT? Only the horrible drug dealers would go into a pot store and buy pot and try to sell it to kids. And again, I NEVER EVEN SAW POT WHILE GROWING UP. Same for my husband and most of my friends. If a teenager or college kid knows where to find marijuana, that doesn't mean he or she has to USE it. And if they are actually LOOKING for marijuana to use, then how sad is that? That is all the more reason we need to speak up and help all these immature, immoral pot smokers understand why it's wrong to use drugs! That is why I speak up about this, to help people. If people would just grow up and set an example, there wouldn't BE any "drug laws" or "pot dealers." Nobody would even be THINKING about drugs. I sure never did!

[Part 1/2]

Cindy, you seem to have completely ignored everything that I've just said to you.

You say that you and your husband never smoked pot as kids/teens. And you don't know anyway who smokes it? Okay, but that is entirely irrelevant and I don't see why you're bringing this up. What does this have to do with anything that we are discussing?

Just because you didn't smoke pot as a teen does not mean every teenager will be the same. The fact is; millions of people, many of which are teens will want to smoke pot - and regardless of what you say, they will not change their mind. So simply saying "no one should smoke pot" will do NOTHING to help the problem. Kids will do things they shouldn't do ... Not every kid, but many. So our best course of action is to protect them from this; and legalizing will help to do so.

For example let's look at alcohol; is it good for you? Hell no! Do I support alcohol? No... But do I think it should be illegal? Most definitely not because making it illegal will not get rid of it; it will make access easier to teens, and adults will be able to get it too. There would also be an insane loss of income to the government and a surge in crime profits.

Weed is the same (well it's not the same exactly but I'll get to that later.) but it's the same in the sense that making it illegal doesn't make it go away, and telling people not to use it will not ever make them stop using it! In fact if regulated/legalized there would likely be measures taken to actually help people quit... Such as an addiction hotline phone number on every purchase of recreational weed from a dispensary. Just as cigarettes (in my country at least) MUST have warnings and extensive anti-smoking pamphlets, and ways to help someone quit smoking included in the pack of smokes.

[Part 2/2]

Just because you tell people to stop something does not mean that they will! Some might, but most definitely not everyone, and in fact MOST people will not stop something because someone tells them to with no reasoning for it. Weed will never go away, Cindy. Never.

Weed will never go away. I'm going to repeat this a few times to let it sink in.

Weed will never go away. Pot will never go away. Marijuana will never go away. Dope will never go away. Grass will never go away.

People will never stop smoking weed. People will never stop smoking weed.
People will never stop smoking weed. People will never stop smoking weed.
People will never stop smoking weed. People will never stop smoking weed.

Okay, got it? Weed is here to stay; and that leaves us with either the option of illegal or legal.

Legalizing will:
*Take profits away from criminals.
*Prevent the pot from being laced or contaminated with drugs that actually cause damage.
*Keep it away from kids and teens.
*provide a better income to governments that can be used to improve communities.
*Free up police time, effort and jail space for criminals who are really doing dangerous and awful things.
*Raise public awareness on real facts about marijuana

Keeping it illegal will:
*Feed money to potentially harmful criminals
*Provide easy access of pot to teens.
*Waste jail space and police time while some REAL criminals like people who steal kill and rape are running free.
*Allow for potential of fatal drugs being laced with pot and then killing people.

So which scenario looks better to you? Legalizing or keeping it illegal? I will take legalization ANYDAY! And I'd think anyone who truly cares about society would agree.

Also... Why should marijuana be illegal for adults to smoke anyway? With substances like cigarettes and alcohol there is at least an argument that they are not only detrimental to a person's health but drinking and hard drugs also cause potential for those people to injure or kill others. But marijuana does not have those qualities, and relatively no negative connotations or affects, so I don't see why it should be disallowed or discouraged in any way.

Dear Anonymous, AARGGHHH Have you not read a thing I have written over the years?? And it makes me FURIOUS that guys always tell me about how making pot legal will take profits away from criminals, blah blah blah. Again, THAT ISN'T THE POINT! Comments like yours make me realize pot should be illegal forever, with VERY STIFF PENALTIES. Not because of marijuana itself, but because of the people who use and defend it! Like you! YOu JUST DON'T GET IT. STOP FOCUSING ON THE LAW, stop telling me all this stuff about the benefits of making "weed" legal! THAT ISN'T THE POINT! YOu shouldn't even be THINKING about "weed"! I sure never do! I have never even SEEN marijuana!Nobody ever offered it to me or talked about it to me or anything! And I was a teen in the 70s! Same for my husband!
