He Is the Gift: Mormon Video about the Birth of Jesus Christ

Here is a video called "He is the Gift". It was produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) about the first gift of Christmas. This first gift was given by a father to all of his children, to us. Heavenly Father gave us His son, the Christ. Please watch this video and reflect upon how you will share this gift.

Merry Christmas!

You're trash. I hope Jesus stabs your eyeballs out, and tells you that you don't deserve to live, and that he's ashamed that you love him. You worthless, pathetic scum.

If your church announced a new direct revelation from God, in which He declared you all shall slit your wrists, what would you do?

Would you tell God he is wrong and disobey?

Well... Would you? You never answered.

I'm honesty curious, if your church discovered a direct revaltion from God telling you to kill yourself, how would you react and handle the situation?

Jesus turned water into wine. Wine has alcohol in it. Jesus your lord and savior is evil because he encouraged his people to drink. You dont get to pick and choose parts of religion just to fit your life.

AAAARGHHH OH I AM SO SICK OF YOU PEOPLE TELLING ME THAT "JESUS DRANK WINE"! You must be the 200th Internet person just this week to tell me that! I have explained over and over that in many cases the water was unsafe back then and they had to drink "wine" in order to avoid being sick. Also, there is evidence that the wine they used back then was not as we know it today, but more like grape juice. Also, there is evidence that wine and grape juice meant the same thing when they were translating the scriptures. But the fact remains that we know more today, we know that alcohol is a drug, and a toxin. It poisons cells. Even in low doses, alcohol significantly increases the risk of breast cancer in women, along with liver and rectum cancer. Low doses! And people think that red wine is good for your heart; well studies show you'd have to drink hundreds of bottles a day to get any benefit, and it's only common sense that it's the grapes, not the alcohol! Alcohol is a toxin! But even if alcohol were good for you, just the fact that it's a mind-altering drug makes it wrong. We shouldn't use mind-altering drugs to relax, celebrate, socialize, get buzzed, etc. And we will NEVER get the pot smokers to understand why it is wrong and immature to use drugs, as long as people use alcohol!

And I have explained over and over how I am a convert to the Mormon church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and we have The Word of Wisdom which is revelation from God saying that alcohol, tea, coffee, cigarettes and mind-altering drugs like marijuana are not for the body. We are taught the moral and physical reasons to avoid using these things. This HELPS us. It is good to understand why we shouldn't use mind-altering drugs to have "fun". That is not what TRUE fun is! That is what makes it wrong! The LDS church is the true church, restored on the Earth in the latter days AFTER the Bible was published. AFTER. Yes, we all know about Jesus and wine in the Bible; but again, Heavenly Father has restored the true church on the Earth in the latter days, and part of that church is The Word of Wisdom where He tells us that it is not right to use mind-altering drugs like alcohol.

But I didn't drink even BEFORE I had religious beliefs, and my husband isn't Mormon and not even particularly religious, and HE doesn't drink. You don't have to be Mormon or religious to know not to drink or smoke pot. It is just common sense. My whole point is that a grown adult should be WELL PAST the age where they'd want to use a mind-altering drug to get buzzed, relax, have "fun", etc. And we will NEVER get the pot smokers to understand why it's wrong to use drugs, as long as people use alcohol! Their number one excuse is, "pot is safer than alcohol." I tell them over and over we shouldn't use EITHER of these things! How hard is that? People need to grow up and set an example!
